But the most recent Peterson editions are now about the same size as Nat Geo's at 5" x 8". However their brains are relatively large and their learning abilities are greater than those of most other birds. Often bulky and overwhelming to the beginner, it can be a daunting task discerning which guide to purchase. The information is still very highly regarded compared to most of the other guides. We have 660 miles trip, 11 hrs of driving, fuel costs about $95.00, one night at our motel $84.00 for two(comes with breakfast & free bar), license $28.50, meals are one dinner $15.00, one Pm package A hunt and one Am package A hunt for the next morning, and now plan on a one overnight get-a-away; so little time off work.
